The Carver Family

Yesterday we went to Debbie Carver's house (Jeremy's friend Kenny's mom). She fixed a wonderful spaghetti dinner for all of us. A few of our other friends Mike and Angela were there too. Zachary loved playing with Debbie's Boxer, Oliver. He ran around the backyard throwing a frisbee to him. We hadn't been to visit Debbie in a while so it was great to see her, and for her to see Zachary and how much he has grown.

Saturday Night Fun!

Saturday night we went to dinner with Andy, Lisa and Carter Rash (friends from Sunday School). We met them at Outback for dinner. Jeremy and I were so shocked because Zachary is such a picky eater ( I mean if it's not Triscuits, then he won't eat it) but we ordered a Bloomin Onion and surprisingly he loved it. After dinner we listened to live music and ate ice cream at the Promenade. We had such a great time. This is definitely something we will do again!

Baby "Birdies"

Zachary went to my moms house today while I ran a few errands. He had so much fun over there. My mom has a fern on her back porch that has a birds nest in it (I think there are three or four baby birds in the nest). Zachary has been keeping up with these birds ever since they hatched. Well, today he was got a suprise! When my mom brought the fern down for him to see he did not like what he saw. The birds were somewhat sitting up and they had their eyes open looking at him. He must have thought they were going to get him! He wanted Nanny to put them back! (If you click on the pictures you can see the birds better)

"Hot Mommy!"

Zachary loves to play outside. Right now his favorite outside activity is playing in his new sandbox. We went outside for just a little while. After about 20 minutes he started saying "hot mommy". I asked him if he was ready to go back inside, but he didn't answer me he just ran to the back door and went inside. I guess that answered my question!

PUZZLES!

Zachary loves puzzles. He was given a lot of new ones for his birthday this year. His favorite right now is the alphabet/animal train puzzle. You put the letters in alphabetical order and when you finish it looks like a train carrying animals that represent each letter. We did this puzzle about twenty times!

Carowinds!

Jeremy had today off. We finally decided to use our Carowinds Season passes. Well, actually I've taken Zachary one time before. We had so much fun today! Zachary loved riding the Dora train the most. However, when he saw Boomerang Bay ( the water park section) he quickly forgot about the train. Jennifer and the girls met us there and all the kids had so much fun playing in the water together. Zachary fell asleep as soon as he got in the car. Carowinds was a hit!

Vote For Zachary!

I entered Zachary into the Parents Magazine Photo Contest ! Please go and vote for Zachary and maybe he will win and be on the cover! Wouldn't that be so cute. So remember go and vote for Zachary! Thanks!!!

Pool Time

Since it wasn't extremely HOT today I took Zachary to our neighborhood pool. He had so much fun playing with Ashley and Madison and all of their water toys. I think his favorite toy was the girls water guns. The funny thing was that he would turn it to his face and squirt himself. He was so tired when we got home that he asked to go "night night". That never happens!

Horton Hears a Who!

Today was Zachary's first movie at the movie theatre. We went with Jennifer, Taylor, Ashley and Madison (the girlies). He had so much fun. I thought he was going to be scared but he wasn't. He sat in his seat eating his M&M's and watching so intently. I think that we are definitely going to have to take him to more movies on the BIG screen!

Daddy & Zachary

Happy Daddy's Day!
Zachary

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Happy Fathers Day! Zachary and Sophie gave Jeremy his Fathers day cards this morning on the way to church. Zachary's of course had Nemo on the front of it ( he picked it out). Sophie on the other hand had a little help from Mommy. Her card was pretty funny. On the front it said, "Happy Fathers Day, To the Scooper," on the inside it said, " From the Pooper." After church we went to see my dad before he left for his baseball tournament. Later we went to see Grammy, Papa, Uncle Keith and Angie to celebrate Fathers Day and Grammy's birthday (June 19th) with some Pizza. We hope everyone had a great Fathers Day!!

TWEETSIE RAILROAD

Last Friday we went to Tweetsie Railroad. Actually the main reason we went was because it was A day out with Thomas. As everyone knows Zachary LOVES Thomas and all the other trains too. He had so much fun!! I think that he was amazed at how BIG Thomas really was. He got Thomas and Percy tattoos on each arm and he loved showing them off. When we were waiting in line to ride Thomas we got in line right behind Zachary's friend from his Sunday school class (HGBC). So now he had a friend that he could ride the train with. We will definitely go there again even if Thomas isn't there.

Our 4 year Anniversary

Today is our anniversary. We have been married for 4 wonderful years (but we have been together since 1996). We aren't really going to do anything big just because next year is a BIGGER year. Yesterday I had Zachary's hand and foot prints done in clay. I won a gift certificate at the Hope Floats Duck Race and this was part of my prize ( his prints). He was so cute because he thought that he was just going to get to play in the clay!
